This is a guest post from Moziak Skin & Body to show how they were able to increase their revenue exponentially with Google Ads and call tracking. Over the past three years I have documented the growth of my day spa. What was once a small $5,800/month day spa now runs around $70,000. Over the years we have tried many marketing channels. Without a doubt, the most valuable channel we have for Mozaik Skin & Body is our Google Ads. Our budget grew from $500/month to almost $3,000/month in just a few years and the advertising return continued to grow with it. I wanted to share with you all our strategy that we used to develop our Day Spa. Here are our AdWords results for the last 30 days.Day-Spa-Case-StudyAd spend: $2,930 Clicks: 1,200 Conversions : 200 Cost per conversion: $14.65 We classify a conversion as someone booking online for the spa or calling directly to book over the phone. Average conversion spend: ~$150 Total revenue generated: ~$30,000 Know the basics Before you start publishing anything on Google Ads, you need to start with a dedicated landing page that will convert your future customers. There are thousands of documents that specifically address this topic, so we've covered the basics of a good landing page. Liens Unless the link is a direct call to action, where the customer will get the desired result, remove it. The last thing you want to do is spend $3-7 on a single click to get someone to click your Facebook link. When they get to Facebook, they'll be distracted by all those notifications and you can kiss that $3 purchase. Calls to Action Your calls to action are the buttons you use to generate leads. They should be clearly visible and notice that these are the actions they are supposed to take. The call to action should be clear and match the sentiment of the buyer. Using much more aligned button text will only increase the conversion rate. Call to Employee Email Database actions that do not parse the action:TP submit Register To start You want to align the call to action button with the exact action you expect users to take. The call to action should lead to specific actions:Get an instant quote Book your spa visit now Book your FREE consultation If you've sold them the idea of using you, you want them to identify the exact button they need to click on as quickly as possible. You literally want to think "does this button explain exactly what they want to do?" »Titles and offers If you don't want to invest energy into building pages for every offer you have that aligns with every campaign, then you should probably consider hiring a professional to do that for you. Every product has a campaign, every product has a dedicated page on someone's website. Google Ads (Google Shopping) directs users directly to the page containing this product. Why? Because if someone wants "red Nike indoor soccer shoes", they don't want to see all the Nike shoes. They want to see red Nike indoor shoes. This is why Google configures its ads this way; for optimal conversion. You should also do this with your local services. At the day spa, we offer massages, facials and packages. Each offer we insert in Google Ads has its own page and special offer to help with conversion. The more you can align your customers' intent with your message, the stronger your conversions will be. Proof of quality There is a big difference with someone coming to your page who is cold, and through paid traffic, versus an SEO/Yelp visitor. Those who go through SEO and Yelp already know something about you (Google ranking). All you have to do is sell services to them. While a Google Pay Per Click customer (or any other cold traffic), may still have questions about the quality of your services. That's why it's very important to include social proof and real proof on your landing page. Here are some elements we use for our landing pages:Testimonials Social Proof (Reviews from FB, Yelp, Google)Mentions in publications (all kinds) Awards Certifications Free Bonus: Getting started with a landing page can be as simple as removing all non-essential elements from your homepage. If you think your page is subpar overall, here are some great free designs I've used to generate leads.
